A 250 person conference for Bell…

At a recent conference, we hosted approximately 250 people from all over the world in an effort to build our International partnership. We worked with Real Communications Inc. to develop a meaningful theme and orchestrate an interactive, fun and memorable event. Real managed to pull off a first rate event that we were proud to host. Real also managed to work within tight timelines and delivered great service within a limited budget. I found Real to be resourceful, creative and button-down. From 5 cities to a 19 city cross-Canada road show for Sun Life…

After successfully working with Real Communications on our 5-city launch across Canada (which included a one hour live simulcast and fireworks) we engaged Real to help us develop, manage and execute our 19 city cross-country road show program from April 26 – May 16, 2011. The intent of the road show was to effectively launch the new mutual fund products and services in a proactive and informative way to the Investment Advisor communities across Canada. The road show was developed in short order and with much attention to detail. Real managed all aspects of the event and ensured that we were on task, on time and under budget. The overall event satisfaction, as an average for all 19 cities, was a whopping 89% which was a quantitative indicator of the event’s success. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Real and look forward to working with them again in the future.

A pivotal shift to virtual for CNOC…

2020 represented a pivotal year for the Canadian ISP Summit. It was not only the 10th Anniversary of this highly regarded industry conference, but it was also a unique year in which we needed to make some difficult and time-sensitive decisions due to global challenges that were thrust upon our entire nation. We needed to re-invent our conference in an entirely virtual format – or either cancel or postpone the event itself. We collaborated with REAL Communications, (our event management agency of record), to explore options. With their support and counsel, we decided to move boldly towards an inaugural virtual event, designed to provide a highly effective forum for our stakeholders to come together to connect, to be inspired, and to learn. Our mandate was to offer as much interaction, entertainment and solid content to deliver on these objectives, and to ensure the 10th Anniversary Summit was successful.

Indeed, this decision, and the flawless development and execution of our first virtual Summit, yielded a tremendous success. According to feedback from our attendees and sponsors, we were told it was ‘the best virtual event ever’, a fantastic outcome in a year full of so many on-line gatherings. Now in 2021, we are again required to host our Summit in a virtual manner, and we’re both confident and excited to be working with REAL Communications. We’re looking forward to building on last year’s success and partnering to put on an even bigger and better event this year. Thanks to REAL for their ingenuity, flexibility and their attention to detail. They continue to be the best possible partner in this space!

In June of 2007, HTC approached Real Communications in order to plan our first ever Canadian Sales Rally for Rogers Communications in Montreal. The Event was a huge hit with our Rogers sales channels and provided a unique and entertaining form to launch the new HTC TyTN. Real managed all aspects of the event and sourced an excellent venue and host while creating an experience for the reps that has afforded us (HTC) the opportunity to build closer relationships with this audience. Rogers has worked with Real Communications since 2006. Real was responsible for planning, developing and executing the Rogers Business Outlook events(s) that consisted of an 8 city tour (across Canada) within a tight two to three-week schedule. The RBO event was developed to create a forum to communicate with and update Rogers sales representatives on new and exciting marketing products and programs. As of February 2009, 5 successful cross-country tours (and over 50 individual events) were successfully completed with over satisfaction results from attendees that scored at approximately 85%.
